This simple feather from an unknown bird washed up on the beach and seemed to me, to be a work of art. Simplicity sometimes is a work of art in itself. Its probably not so simple to the bird who lost it.
The intricacies of Spanish Moss are, to me, always a work of art. This art work is created by nature.

Being on the move sometimes means hitching a ride wherever you can get one. This bird looks awfully determined to get to his mission. I don’t think he’s realized he’s getting nowhere fast. Maybe someone should tell him lily pads don’t go anywhere, so he can continue on the move riding something that does actually move.
Spring weather means people, cooped up all winter, are ready to be outside and enjoy the spring weather. The pedestrian bridge is seeing lots more traffic now that it is warmer.
When the Bearded Iris bloom spring is in full swing. I wish they lasted more than a few very short weeks. I’d like to see them bloom all summer but then they may not be quite so special.
Dogwoods and especially pink dogwoods mean spring has arrived. But I could do without the cold snap of Dogwood Winter they bring with them.
For Nashville, spring means out of town visitors. Downtown is glad to see the weather bring in lots of visitors after the long cold winter. People come on foot, by carriage, on bicycle and by car to the Strip on Lower Broadway and is Nashville ever happy to see them. Locals also come out in the beautiful weather to enjoy the hustle and bustle of the Strip. Spring brings life back to the Strip.
Nothing says Spring like the sight of Cherry Blossoms and this little bee knows it. He was making a beeline for the blooms. Maybe he’s hungry after a long cold winter!
