Sunday Slideshow–Backyard Butterfly Theatre Company

Backyard Butterfly Theatre Company

During the hot summer days, the butterflies in the backyard got bored and decided to put on a few theatre productions to entertain the caretaker of the backyard.  Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice was the first production.  That was because the Monarch felt he could only play a part worthy of his regal-ness.  The others gave in this time.  For the next production, they may not be so willing to let him dictate the choice.  We’ll see.

  1. It’s weird, I can hear the music but the screen remains blank, will have to check it out tomorrow, bit tired tonight. When we lived in S-E Queensland, we used to get enormous black, velvety butterlies with blue markings fluttering around our garden and feeding off the flowers, they were absolutely beautiful. You don’t get many butterflies in North Cyprus which is a shame, I miss them.

    1. Thanks for letting me know. click the link under the black screen. I have trouble sometimes using a Mac. Things don’t always post well! Why aren’t there any butterflies in Cyprus?

  2. Very nice. (But the story is dadblamery, you know.)

    1. Yes I know but don’t tell the butterflies. The monarch really thinks he’s Darcy!
